On February 11, 2025, at the headquarters of MPWiK S.A. in Wroclaw, we signed a contract for the Expansion and Modernization of the Wroclaw Wastewater Treatment Plant - Stage 2!
According to the signed agreement, we will perform within 24 months the extremely important biological part, the complex process of expansion and modernization of the Wroclaw Wastewater Treatment Plant, in particular:
• the technological system of wastewater treatment (modernization of five biological blocks and blower stations),
• modernization of seven existing ones and construction of an additional secondary settling tank, with sewage and sludge chambers and sludge pumping stations,
• a sludge lagoon - an emergency liquid sludge tank.
The most important goals of the several-stage investment process conducted by MPWiK S.A. Wrocław are:
• increasing the capacity of the Treatment Plant 150,000 to 209,000 m3 of sewage per day,
• adjustment of the facilities to accept excess sewage during heavy rains,
• - more qualitatively efficient treatment of wastewater, thereby minimizing its negative impact on the environment.
The value of the task is PLN 177 million net.
The investment will be implemented on the basis of project documentation prepared by BIURO PROJEKTÓW BUDOWNICTWA KOMUNALNEGO in Wrocław Spółka z o.o. – a member of the Instal Warszawa S.A. capital group.
