This project is an important step towards increasing the efficiency of the district heating system in Siedlce, and is part of the drive towards more sustainable energy generation. The gas turbines, which for years were the heart of the existing system, were moved out of the EC1 hall using the hydraulic and sliding method, thus preparing a place for the new technology. Modernization works are underway to adapt the building to service new gas engines and innovative cogeneration infrastructure.
