Start-up works are underway to introduce into operation the treatment installation of the sediments resulting from cleaning the sewage system in Marki.

As part of the business activity, Wodociąg Marecki Sp. z o.o. is obliged to maintain the hydraulic efficiency of the sanitary and rainwater sewage system. Due to the above, works related to cleaning and unblocking sewage pipelines are carried out. For this purpose, a vehicle with a high-pressure flushing and suction system with a water recovery system is used. His work consists in extracting the residual sand from the sediment from the sewage system. After filling the tank of a specialist car, the sand must be subjected to specialist treatment and managed in accordance with applicable regulations.

As a result of the cleaning processes, stabilized sand will be produced at the newly built Service Station, which can be stored in a landfill in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Economy of July 16, 2015. on the acceptance of waste for storage in landfills.
