The contract under the name of POLRAD Weather Radar Modernization as a part of the Odra – Vistula Flood Management Project financed by the World Bank works are carried out on several meteorological towers in the same time.
A new radar tower is under construction in Użranki, and renovation works are underway in Świdwin and Rzeszów. Work is being prepared to start in Poznań.
As part of the modernization works, new domes are installed to protect the measuring devices.
