The contract under the name of POLRAD Weather Radar Modernization as a part of the Odra – Vistula Flood Management Project financed by the World Bank design and construction works are carried out on 10 meteorological towers.
Construction work has commenced on the foundation of a new tower in Użranki in the district of Mragowo. The tower will be made of steel trusses and its height will be about 35 m. At the same time, construction works in Legionowo have been completed, and works related to the replacement of the radar are nearing completion.
